Food department now in Spanish — Spanish's fourth department

Comida joins Planificar, Dónde alojarse and Islas, making Spanish the first language to reach four fully translated departments.

What's new

Comida is now the fourth fully Spanish-translated department, and the first department for any language to go beyond the Plan/Stay/Islands trio all three active languages have shared until now. Five pages, all in Spanish:

Why Food, and why Spanish, first

Food is one of the most-searched topics for any destination, and Spanish has consistently been the language we've pushed furthest — it was the first to reach three departments, and now the first to reach four. Sticking with a language rather than spreading effort thin across all three seemed like the better way to get an entire useful section genuinely complete.

Where the count stands

121 English pages. Spanish now covers four full departments (Plan, Stay, Islands, Food — 23 pages total). Japanese and French each still cover three (Plan, Stay, Islands). Next up: a fourth department for Japanese or French to match Spanish, or a fifth for Spanish.
