Islands department now in Japanese

島を選ぶ joins 旅の計画 and 宿泊, bringing Japanese level with Spanish's three-department coverage.

What's new

Islands is now the third fully Japanese-translated department, following Plan and Stay — which brings Japanese level with Spanish's department coverage for the first time. Five pages, all in Japanese:

Japanese and Spanish, now level

This is the first point where Japanese has matched Spanish's department coverage exactly — both now cover Plan, Stay and Islands (15 pages each, not counting the homepages). We've kept the same order and roughly the same pace for both languages deliberately, rather than letting one race ahead while the other stalls.

Where the count stands

117 English pages. Spanish and Japanese now each cover three full departments (15–18 pages depending on department page counts), alongside their homepages. French remains at the translated-homepage stage. Next up: a fourth department for both Spanish and Japanese (Food or Culture would be natural choices), or finally starting French's first full department.
