Islands department now in Spanish

Islas y lugares joins Plan and Stay as the third fully Spanish-translated department — including our direct island-comparison guide.

What's new

The Islands department is now the third fully Spanish-translated section of the site, joining Plan and Stay. Five pages, following the same pattern documented in our dev README:

Why this order

We're deliberately translating the pages a first-time Spanish-speaking visitor needs most, not just working alphabetically through the site. Plan (when to go, how to get there) came first, Stay (where to base yourself) came second, and Islands (which island to actually pick) follows naturally as the third — all three departments now cross-link each other correctly in Spanish, not just fall back to English.

Where the count stands

114 English pages, plus a growing Spanish section that now covers three full departments (18 translated pages total), alongside Japanese and French homepages. Next up: either a fourth Spanish department, or starting the same full-department treatment for Japanese or French.
