Culture is now the fifth fully French-translated department, restoring three-way parity with Spanish and Japanese. Five pages, all in French, on some of the site's most important context:
- Culture — the department hub.
- Une histoire brève et honnête (A short, honest history) — from the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi through the 1893 overthrow to statehood.
- Étiquette et être un bon invité (Etiquette & being a respectful guest) — aloha ʻāina, sacred sites, and concrete visitor habits.
- Le hula, expliqué (Hula, explained) — kahiko vs. ʻauana, and how to watch respectfully.
- Traditions du lei (Lei traditions) — what a lei represents and how to receive one correctly.
Same careful approach as Spanish and Japanese
As with the Spanish and Japanese translations, this section deals with sensitive material — the 1893 overthrow, sacred sites, living traditions — and we preserved the same directness and respect the English pages were written with, rather than a softened version.
Where the count stands
126 English pages. Spanish, Japanese and French each now cover five full departments (Plan, Stay, Islands, Food, Culture) — the third time all three active languages have matched exactly. Next up: a sixth department for one or more languages, or finally starting a fourth language from scratch.
